Fargo Dome
We have worked at the Fargo Dome since our company first opened its doors in 1997. We have installed miles of fiber optic cable, even more copper cabling. We were responsible for installing all of the network and fiber optic cabling for the sound system upgrade in 2007. We installed a fiber backbone and television signal distribution system in 2015, and installed all of the fiber for the new television camera, and A/V system upgrade that was conducted at the same time as the large DakTronics screen upgrade. We installed all of the cabling for the new video walls and fiber distribution system. We installed all of the fiber backbone and coax for the Verizon Wireless Cell Phone DAS Upgrade in 2014. Our most recent project was to upgrade their networking backbone from multimode fiber to single mode fiber. We installed the Sumitomo FutureFLEX ™ system to house the backbone cabling.
Data Center
We installed the server cabinets, the overhead cable and fiber tray. Helped design the hot isle, cold isle and fiber distribution system.
West Fargo Public Schools
We recently built West Fargo's newest building North Side Elementary School, directly across the street from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. We also helped to recently construct the new West Fargo Central Kitchen.
Fargo City Hall
We had the low number on the original bid for this project, but due to cost over-runs it went back to the drawing board. We were successful in the second bidding process, and ultimately installed General Cable Category 6 Augmented solution with Panduit connectivity. We also were responsible for connecting the new City Hall to the City of Fargo fiber network, and rerouted the fiber optic cable to the police station.
Dorothy Dodds Elementary
Dorothy Dodds Elementary was a Category 6 project that was completed in the fall of 2017. We also installed a coax hardline and splitter system for a customer installed DAS system.
State of North Dakota
ABT Data Technologies is one of the two approved contractors for the Wiring and Placement Services contract for the State of North Dakota. We have been a holder of this contract since (need a year). Below are listed just a few of our biggest projects for the State.Department of Corrections Administrative Building
The addition of the new administrative building at the NDDOCR was quite a challenge in that not only were we responsible for the internal data cabling of the facility, but we had to rework all of the campus backbone data and fiber optic cabling for the facility. Older buildings which have since been removed housed the telephone system for the prison and other surrounding departments such as the State Lab and Rough Rider Industries. We had to remove and splice 600 pairs of OSP copper cabling in about 48 hours to make the transition from old to new happen.
Department of Corrections Inmate Housing
The inmate housing portion of the expansion was a Category 6 installation with fiber optic and copper backbone routed to their main distribution room.
Information Technology Department
This was a Category 6 installation, with some locations requiring Category 6 Augmented cabling. Included in the new installation was tying the telecommunications closets together with fiber optic and copper cabling.
Governor's Residence
The Governor's Residence was a different job in that we were responsible for all low voltage cabling for not just the voice and data systems, but security, cameras, audio visual to name a few. We had to remove copper cabling from the existing residence, and install a new fiber optic cable to the capital building.
Heritage Center
This project was bid to the public, however we were successful in obtaining the bid for the low voltage. Included in this project as the development of an additional closet due to some cables being longer than the recommended industry length. We had to tie all of the new telecommunications rooms into the existing rooms, as well as design the layout for the individual telecommunications rooms.
Bank of North Dakota
The Bank of North Dakota was one of our first jobs for the State.
Various other projects
Below are some of the various other projects that we've constructed.Grand Forks Airport
We constructed the new terminal building for the Grand Forks Airport. This included installing over a mile of fiber optic cable from their original facility building to the new building.
Building 375
This project was unique in that instead of a majority of the cabling being copper, it was in fact fiber optic cabling installed to hundreds of outlets within the facility.
West Acres Mall Offices
When the West Acres Mall Offices moved from their basement location to the south end of the building we were crucial to their efforts. We wired all of their new offices, as well as had to rework all of the fiber optic cabling within the building. We've also performed various adds and changes to the building, to include the wireless access point installation and upgrades. We installed the cabling for the new Guest Services counter located near the main doors on the north side of the building. We had to tie this location into the existing fiber distribution system.
Sanford Health Athletic Complex
The Sanford Health Athletic Complex or SHAC as it is now known used to be called Bison Sports Arena or BSA. This project more than doubled the size of the original building, and was a complete gut and remodel of the existing structure. This project required us to complete work all of the incoming plant fiber optic and copper cabling. We installed Category 6 Augmented cabling to individual networking outlets. We also installed all of the fiber backbone, and additionally fiber optic cabling to floor box outlets within the arena. We assisted in installation of all of the door security cabling.
Jamestown Medical Center
The Jamestown Regional Medical Center was approximately 2000 Category 6 cables throughout the facility. We also became responsible for the installation of all of the audio/visual cabling within the facility.
Forum Communications Printing
We performed the original infrastructure installation on this building in 2004. We have continued to service the facility as their needs have grown for more machinery, or upgraded machinery.
